SUBJECT: Utiliz.ation of Miller Bldg. for Nov. Election
The following information is provided in order to avoid any misunderstandings about utilizing
the Miller Building for the upcoming November elections:
:
1) When the voting machines are delivered -if there is no one here
and the building is locked, the driver should be instructed to
go across the street to the Police/Fire Complex to obtain the
key. The following individuals should have a key:
I) On-duty Police Sergeant
2) On-duty Fire Battalion Chief
3) Deputy Director Olson
4 )0 Director Stanley
2) The day before the election , the head judge can call me at
781-6075 to set up a time to check the machines. Or, if he/she
prefers to just drop by , if the building is locked , the same
information provided above should be given to the judge.
3) A work request should be completed in order to have Bob Reynolds
available to open the building for the judges no later than 6 a.m.
4) As there is no one in the building after 5 p .m., arrangements
should be made to have an employee of the City here at 7 p.m.
to secure the building .
5) During election day, when I am not in my office, the office will
be locked. This means that accessibility to the telephone will
not be possible . There is, however, a pay telephone outside the
front door of the building.
If you need any additional information, please contact me.
