Election The following information is provided in order to avoid any misunderstandings about utilizing the Miller Building for the upcoming November elections: : 1) When the voting machines are delivered -if there is no one here and the building is locked, the driver should be instructed to go across the street to the Police/Fire Complex to obtain the key. The following individuals should have a key: I) On-duty Police Sergeant 2) On-duty Fire Battalion Chief 3) Deputy Director Olson 4 )0 Director Stanley 2) The day before the election , the head judge can call me at 781-6075 to set up a time to check the machines. Or, if he/she prefers to just drop by , if the building is locked , the same information provided above should be given to the judge. 3) A work request should be completed in order to have Bob Reynolds available to open the building for the judges no later than 6 a.m. 4) As there is no one in the building after 5 p .m., arrangements should be made to have an employee of the City here at 7 p.m. to secure the building . 5) During election day, when I am not in my office, the office will be locked. This means that accessibility to the telephone will not be possible . There is, however, a pay telephone outside the front door of the building.
