THE ENGLEWOOD POLICE BENEFIT ASSOCIATION.
FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE #22. FINAL OFFER:
PAY RAISE
Effective January 1, 1995 and January 1, 1996, employees
covered by this contract will receive compensation developed
from the median base monthly salary for Police Officer I from
the following Denver metropolitan police departments.
Arvada, Aurora, Boulder, Broomfield, Commerce City, Denver,
Lakewooq, Littleton, Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster,
Wheat Ridge.
Financial Impact for 1995: $85,270 (Estimated)
Financial Impact for 1996: $88,250 (Estimated)
RETIREMENT HEALTH BENEFITS:
Maximum of $150.00 per month.
Financial Impact for 1995: ($900.00 increase per year per
new retiree)
Financial Impact for 1996: ($900.00 increase per year per
new retiree)
CAREER SERVICE BOARD RECOMMENDATION:
PAY RAISE
2 1 /4% increase on the 1994 base wage rate effective
January 1, 1995, and an additional 1 1 /4% increase on the
1994 wage rate effective July 1, 1995. Wage rates for the
calendar year 1 996 will be determined by negotiation between
the parties consistent with the provisions of the Englewood
City Charter to commence during 1995.
Effective January 1, 1995, the base wage rate for a
probationary police officers hired on or after January 1, 1 995
wm be $2,450 per month for 1995, which includes the above
1995 wage increases.
Financial Impact for 1995: $70,040
Financial Impact for 1996: To be negotiated
RETIREMENT HEALTH BENEFITS:
Maximum of $100 per month.
Financial Impact for 1995: ($300.00 per year per new retiree)

CITY OF ENGLEWOOD BALLOT QUESTIONS
NOVEMBER 8, 1994 COORDINATED ELECTION
QUESTION NO. 1
SHALL THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD DEBT BE INCREASED $430,000, WITH A REPAYMENT
COST OF $587 ,000; AND SHALL THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD TAXES BE INCREASED
$62,000, ANNUALLY (over the life of the district the sum of the tax increase shall not
exceed the sum of $587,000), such amount to be issued for the purpose of paying for the
costs of removing and replacing substandard concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk to
minimum City specifications the tax to be imposed over a period of ten years and only upon
properties located within local improvement district created within the City; such taxes, to
consist of special assessment bonds, payable solely from the proceeds of special
assessments or other legally available moneys of the City and the proceeds of such bonds
and special assessments, and investment income thereon, be collected and spent by the
City without regard to any expenditure, revenue-raising, or other limitation contained within
Article X, Section 20 of the Colorado Constitution?

Voters shall select one of the following, the one having the highest number of votes shall be
deemed approved.
THE QUESTION OF THE AMOUNT OF PAY RAISE AUTHORIZED FOR THE ENGLEWOOD
POLICE BENEFIT ASSOCIATION, FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE #22, CONTRACT
FOR THE YEARS OF 1995 AND 1996.
CITY OF ENGLEWOOD FINAL OFFER:
PAY RAISE
2 % increase on the 1994 base wage rate effective January 1,
1995, and an additional 1 % increase on the 1994 wage rate
effective July 1, 1995. Wage rates for the calendar year
1996 will be determined by negotiation between the parties
consistent with the provisions of the Englewood City Charter
to ·commence during 1995.
Effective January 1, 1995, the base wage rate for a
Probationary Police Officer hired on or after January 1, 1995,
will be $2,450 per month for 1995, and there shall be no
further increase in 1995.
Financial Impact for 1995: $60,900

RETIREMENT HEAL TH BENEFITS:
Continue current provision of payment of up to $75.00 per
month .
