Present: Absent: Mulinix, Warren, Wilson, Lay, Ellis None A quorum was present. Also Present: Deputy City Clerk Castle * * * * * The Commission discussed the Career Service Board recall election scheduled for June 24, 1994 concerning Robert Farri~, an elected member of the Career Service Board. City Clerk Ellis explained that, if Mr. Farris wishes to retain his seat, he may run as one of the candidates for election. He has yet to indicate whether he wishes to have his name included on the ballot. Lengthy discussion ensued. Unanimous approval was given to the following items: Verification of recall petitions Certified letter to Robert Farris Election schedule Petition format Notice to employees lt was decided that Rene Mulinix will be present at 5:00 p.m. on election day, June 24 , 1994, to assist with the cer1ification of election results. City Clerk Ellis related that the nomination petitions are to be filed with the City Clerk by 5 :00 p.m. on June 9, 1994. The Election Commission will meet at that time to verify the nomination petitions, certify candidates and approve the ballot. * * * * * City Clerk Ellis told the Commission that the dates available to meet with the Englewood City Council are July 5 and July 18, 1994. The members' unanimous preference is July 18, I 994.
