Review and Approval: a) City of Englewood Election Procedures Manual Vote results: Ayes: Members Jensen , Lay , Nabholz, Ellis Nays: None The City of Englewood Election Procedures Manual, as revised, was approved. 2. Consideration and Recommendation: a) Tie Vote -Designation of who shall determine, by lot, the person to be elected. (CRS 31-10-1204) • In case of a tie vote: CRS § 31-10-1204 'The clerk and his ass istant shall determine by lot the person who shall be elected . Reasonable noti ce shall be given to such candidates of the time when such election will be so determined ." CRS § 1-11-102 ... T ie votes in nonpartisan elections . " ... the Board of Canvasse rs shall determine by lot the person who shall be elected . Reasonable notice shall be given to the candidates who are involved of the time when the election will be determined ." Vote results: Ayes: Members Jensen, Lay, Nabholz , Ellis Nays : None The Commission approved adopting a policy whereby the City of Englewood Election Commission would fulfill the responsibility as set forth in CRS § 31-10-1204. [Clerk 's note: As a result of this decision , in the event the City of Englewood conducts their own election and if there is a tie vote , the City of Englewood Election Commission would determine , by lot , the person elected .] • • • ELECTION COMMISSION Telephone Poll January 24, 2007 1. Consideration of minutes: a) Telephone Poll results: December 14, 2006 Vote results: Ayes: Members Jensen, Lay, Nabholz, Ellis Nays : None The Telephone Poll results were approved. 2. Consideration: a) Approval of a policy granting authority to the City Clerk's office and the Election Commission to print in the fields for City and County information on all pertinent/relevant petitions before they are signed. Vote results: Ayes: Members Jensen , Lay, Nabholz, Ellis Nays: None The Commission approved adopting a policy granting authority to the City Clerk's office and the Election Commission to print in the fields for City and County information on all pertinent/relevant petitions before they are signed. 3. Clerk's Choice: (a) Information only -Resolution No. 86, Series of 2006 - A resolution concerning ethics .
