Dear Candidate:
The election process has changed considerably in the last few years. The
practice of reserving heavy campaigning for the week prior to election day no
longer works as many voters will have already cast their vote . Mail ballot
elections and early voting impact a campaign.
The Englewood Election Commission will be recommending to Council that the
City of Englewood participate in a coordinated mail ballot election with Arapahoe
County this November. Under this scenario mail ballots will be mailed out
October 13 , 1995.
Candidates who are running for Council will want to plan their campaign strategy
accordingly.
I look forward to working with you throughout the elect ion process.
