below.
I. Election of New Officers: Two nominations were submitted:
Lee Means ,for Chair and Barbara Davis as Vice Chair. Both were
unanimously approved.
II. MSW Plan: Glazier distributed a copy of the Englewood
Citizen that had an article discussing the Commission's MSW
proposal and announcing the date of the public forum. The forum
is set for 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13th. Discussion then
ensued about how best to conduct the forum. It was decided to
have Glazier present an overview of the issues and the reasoning
behind the proposal. Afterwards, the public would be asked for
their comment that would be directed by L. Means. Finally,
Glazier would present a summary of the public's input. R.
Hathaway volunteered to keep a written record on a flip-chart of
all the issues mentioned. Once the public's input had been
received, the Commission would discuss those at the May meeting.
III. Bag-A-Thon: Glazier informed the Commission that the sub-
committee was unable to meet last week. However, much planning
had been done to date. Glazier reported that the Commission had:
permission to use the parking area in front of
Little Dry Creek .
sent letters to last year's sponsors requesting
donations.

businesses about environmental regulations. Potential sponsors
have been contacted, as well as facilities in which to hold the
seminar. Glazier stated the decision from the E.P.A. is expected
sometime in the early spring. Staff was also going to meet with
the Director of Denver University's National Center for
Preventative Law to assess what specific audience should be
targeted.
The leaf and grass drop-off program has been postponed until a
potential sponsor or two can be identified. Currently, the City
•
has no current funds available to support the program. Glazier •
did state, however, that he would continue to pursue funding from
alternative sources.
