A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE OFFICAL POSTING PLACE
FOR ALL LEGAL NOTICES OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD FOR
2026.
WHEREAS, Colorado Revised Statutes § 24-6-402(2)(c) provides that “A local public
body shall be deemed to have given full and timely notice of a public meeting if the local public
body posts the notice, with specific agenda information if available, no less than twenty-four hours
prior to the holding of the meeting on a public website of the local public body”; and
WHEREAS, C.R.S. § 24-6-402(2)(c) also provides that the public place or places for
posting legal notices shall be designated annually at the local public body’s first regular meeting
of each calendar year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORARO, THAT:
Section 1. The official posting place for all legal notices of the City of Englewood for the
year of 2026, shall be the City of Englewood’s website at
https://englewoodgov.civicweb.net/portal/ (meeting notices) and
https://www.englewoodco.gov/government/legal-public-notices (other legal notices), all in
conformance with C.R.S. § 24-6-402(2)(c). If the City is unable to post to the website due to
exigent or emergency circumstances, the City of Englewood will post a physical notice at the
bulletin board on the north side of the second floor of the Englewood Civic Center, 1000
Englewood Pkwy, Englewood CO 80110.
Section 2. This Resolution does not in any way of itself create a requirement for notice.
