Call to Order The special meeting of the Englewood City Council was ca lled to order by Mayor Bums at 6 :20 p.111. 2 . Invocation The invocation was given by Council Member Nabholz . 3. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Bums . 4 . Roll Call Present: Council Members Na bholz . G razuli s. Garrett, Bradshaw. Wo lo -yn . Yurch1ck . Bums Absent: None A quorum was present. Also present : 5. COUNCIL MEMBER BRADSHAW MOVED, AND IT WAS SECONDED. TO ACCEPT THE: RESIGNATION OF GREG SAUTER FROM THE ENGLEWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION . Ayes: Nays: Motion carried . Mayor Burns advised that there are two vacancies on the Planning and Zoning Commi ss ion . Mayor Bums conuncnted that he thought they would both be good members and they reall y apprec iate Ms. Kreiger coming in tonight to apply. Vote results: Ayes : Nays : Motion carried. Council Members Nahholz , Garrett. Bradshaw. Wolosyn , Yurchick, Grazulis , Bums None . .... Mayor Bums noted they also have a youth applicant for the Cultural Arts Commission, Joel Burrage . Council Member Garren asked ifhe could be appointed tonight. as this is a Special Meeting. C it y Attorne y Brotzman said no . 6 . Due to significant changes in the status of my current employer I have decided to accept a position with a new company outside of Colorado. This change will prevent me from carrying out my responsibilities i;.im the Cornu,ii;:.io,;. Although relatively short, my tenure on the Commission has been rewarding and I would welcome the opportunity to work with the Commission again should my career carry me back to Englewood. I am sad leaving Englewood, as I truly believe that we are a unique community and the type of place that I was looking forward to raising a family . Part of the success of Englewood clearly lies with the commitment of City Council and your continued commitment to the community. I would also like to take this opportunity to compliment the Englewood i>lanning Department for all of their hard work and dedication. I believe that they will be a significant factor in the continued success and further revitalization of Englewood.
