The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Van Dyke. Roll was called. Present: Council Members Hathaway, Koltay, Kozacek, Byrne, Habenicht, Clayton, Van Dyke Absent : None A quorum was present. Also present: Acting City Manager Vargas City Attorney DeWitt City Clerk Crow 1. Mayor Van Dyke announc~ that the purpose of the special meeting was to set the •ill levy for property tax in the City of Englewood to becOllle effec -tive January 1, 1989. Acting City Manager Vargas advised Council that he had contact~ the Englewood Downtown Develol)lltnt Authority (EDDA) and had been advis~ the EDDA wished to r duce the •fll levy for 1988, payable in 1989, to 2.559 •Ills which uld g n rate th sue revenue as r celved tn 1988. Mr .
