Mr. Yod r aaid the reaodeling wa• coaplicated by the t:act that some thing• were done by the previoua owner• that were not done under permit. There i• a two-atory office in the front. It is hoped that the sprinkler syatem would be able to contain any minor tire. Mr. Cashen said that one or the reasons tor applying the tire- protection trom the outside only is that it would be ditticult to work from inside the building. There are conduits, pipes, and building equipment located on the inside or th• existing walls. It would be ditticult to work around th••• obstructions. The current owner is using the building in auch the same w y the building was originally approved. There is no occupancy listing on the original building perait or subsequent reaodels or repairs, but it was used as an ottice/warehouse, which is how th present owner is using the building. Hr. Because of the nature of the projects and the proposed schedules for the work If further adjustments are not considered now , then the money may have already been spent by the end of the year . For this r ason, projects such as the Belleview Softball Fields, Kenyon Avenue Storm Sewer, and/or the Nature Center totaling $187,000 should perhaps b delayed until the fourth quarter to see what the real revenue picture Is . Since the Softball Fields and Storm Se wer projects are construction projects, delaying them until the fourth quarter effectively delays them until 1988. Given th poor revenu picture, ft Is Important that some contingency plans be made . It should be noted that proceeds from the Lottery Fund were to go to funding the Natur C nter . If It Is necessary to delay the Nature Center, an equal amount ($52,000) could be allocated to land purchase for expansion of Cushing Park. 1986 CH ANG ES The following projects have been co pleted and the re alnlng monies should b liquidated to the fund balance : Storm Drainage Control, Little Ory Creek En gtneerinq, Acoma /Gi rard Improvements, Sinclair Pool, Traffic Engineering Tech nlcian, Broadway Facade, Halley Parking Lot 13, and Land Acquisition for Walkthrough . unt to b liquidated totals $92,400 .
