Gary Kasson stated that for the record he needed to excuse him-
self as he was being called for from the Police Station.
Commissioner Pokraka suggested that the grievance forms be tenta-
tively impl ment d, copies and a letter be sent to each Associa-
tion President requ sting that on behalf of the Board, th se
forms be used on a trial basis until December 31, 1986. At that
time, they will be r viewed, revised again if necessary and for-
mally approved. If there are changes to the forms, Association's
should send comments, in writing to the Board Secretary, before
the January 1987 regular meeting. Commissioner Fitzpatrick

Ther was some discussion concerning use of the Englewood
High School pool by the Recreation Department during th time
that the recreation center pool is shut down for repairs.
Assistant Director Foe explained that after checking into the
possibilities, staff came to the decision that it would not be
feaaibl tor the Recr ation Depart nt to schedule the pool
because ot the li ited amount ot time that it would be available
tor the department's use. Other factors involv d includ d coat
to rent the pool, scheduling, not being assured of definite use

Assistant Director Foe reported on the recent chlorine leak
at the Sinclair Pool. Foe stated that the diving team was in the
pool at the time ot the early morning mishap. The paramedics
were called and rive members ot the diving team were taken to
Swedish Hospital tor observation. Foe stated that vandalism to
the pool the night before caused the water pressure to drop whi ch
in turn caused mechanical failure or th Stranco Chlorinator
Syate . Foe stated th t Tri-County Health waa c alled immediately
to take aome readings, wh ich were repor ed to b normal. As a

the playground at Centennial Park. A youngater walked behind a
awing and waa hit in the head requiring JO atitches. Kuhn and
Park Supervisor Xavinaky have reviewed the placement ot play
apparatus and have made arrangement• to move the awing further
away from the playground fence.
