Emerson Street, Paving District 30 It is our request that East Amherst Avenue between S. Clarkson St. and S. Emerson St. not be paved; it has been a dirt road for at least the past 33 years; all of our houses back onto the road, and we do not use the road. We could easily have our trash pick ups in front of our houses. We request that it not be included in the district's paving, because the assessment will pose financial hardship. If council still chooses to include this road in District 30's paving schedule, then we request that those houses fronting the road pay a larger portion of the cost, since they directly benefit from the paving, and we do not.
