OF 1'HE IMPR OV EMENTS MAD E IN AND FOR SIDEWAL K IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO . 69 IN THE CITY OF ENGLE WOOD, CO LORADO; TO APPROVE
AND CONFIRM THE APPORTIONMENT OF SAID COST TO EACII LOT OR TRACT
OF LAND IN SA ID DI STRICT; TO ASSESS A SHARE OF SAID COST
AGAINST EACH LOT I N THE DISTRICT; ESTABLI SH IN G A DATE AND
PLACE FOR A PUBLI C HEARING UPON THE ASSES SMENT OF SAID COSTS
AND ORDERI NG PUBLICATI ON AND MAILING OF NOTICE THEREOf-' TO
THE OWNER S OF PROPERTY TO BE ASSESSED WITHI N THE DISTRICT ;
AND TO APPROVE THE COMPLET ION OF SAID DISTRICT .
WHEREA S, th e City Co un ci l of he City o f Eng l e wood,
Color ado, pu r suant to the Charter and Ordi nance No . 14, Seri es
of 1965, of said City and the Laws of the State of Colorado,
e nacted Ordi nance No. 28, Series of 1969 c r eatin g Sidewalk
Improv e me nt District No. 69 , and providing f or the con struction
therein of sidewa l k improvement s; and
WHEREAS, the co nstruction of such impr ovements ha s
been completed and the total c ost s of such improvements have
been reliably ascer tai ned.
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ENGLE WOOD , COLORADO , as fol lows :
1. Th a t, subject to the provisi ons and condition s
c ontained within the Ch arter of the ity of Englewoo d, Ordi -
nance No. 14, Series of 1965, and any applicable statute,
City Coun cil hereb y declares th at it i s its intent to approve
the whole c ost of the improvement s made i n and for Sidewa lk
Im proveme nt Di s trict No. 6~ to approve and confirm the appor-
tionment of s a id cost to each lo or tract of land in said ·
District and to assess a share of said c ost against each lot
or tract of land in the District, and to approve the comple tion
of said district.
2. That a publi c hearing upon said assessments will
be held before Ci t y Co unci l at City Hall, 34 00 South Elati,
Englewood, Colorado, to c omme~ce at 8 :00 o'c loc k p.m . on
Monday, February 16, 1970 , and that notice of the propos ed
assessment s be given by the City C l e rk and publ i shed in the
Englewood He r ald and En erpr ise , a newspaper published an d
of general c irculation in s aid City , in three con sec utive
weekly editions, herei n gi ving Notice to the owners of the
proper y to be asse ssed of he mat e rs a n d th~ngs r equ ired y
law . A or about the t1me of the first publi ation, No ~ce
sha ll a lso b given by prepaid mail to all k n o wn owners of
propert y to b e assessed w1th the cost of s ai d improveme nts.

All owner s of real estate and property located in
Sidewalk Improvement District No . 69 created by Ordinance No.
28, Series of 19 9, City of Englewood, Co lorado, and all persons
ge ner ally, a re hereby notified that the construction of the
improvements for Sidewalk District No. 69 has been completed
and he cos s thereof h ave been ascertained, and tha the City
Council is of the inlent to approve and confirm the apportion-
ment of said costs o each lot or tract of land in s aid
District: to assess a share of said costs against each lot or
trac in s aid Di s tric t ; and to prescribe the manner of collection
and payment of s aid assessments ; and that the City Counci l
at its regular meeting o n January 19, 1970 adopt ed a resolution
setti ng forth its in ent to approve said costs and assessments .
Said persons a r e further notified as follows:
a) The w~o l e c o s t of said improvements is the sum
of $14 ,063.31.
b~ Of said s um of $14,063.31, the City of Englewood
will pay $4 ,1 69 .91, leaving a balance of $9 ,893.40 to be
assessed agai ns t the real property in said Distric
c) The sum of $9,893.40 will be apportioned to
the real property in said District a nd assessed as follows:
