ON PROPOSED ANNEXATION
TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, AND THE RESIDENTS
AND LANDOWNERS IN THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 4th day of June. A.D. •
1973 the C~ty Counc~1 of the C~ty of Eng1ewood. Co1orado
adopted a Reso1ution of Intent to Annex a certain area o£
1a.n.d as described in said Reso1ut:i.on and pub1i.shed here~th •
known as the Santa Fe-Union Annexation and that said pro-
posed annexation covers an area of approximate1y 183
acres. A 1ega1 description and annexation ~ap is pub1ished

"I."h.e purpose of said Hea.r~g is for the determination
and f~nd~ng by the C~ty Counc~1 whether the terr~tory pro-
posed to be annexed meets the app1icab1e requirements of
Sect~on 4. C.R.S. '63, Chapter 139. Art~c1e 21 (1965 Perm.
Supp.). The genera1 provisions of said section are:
1. Does the proposed annexation of the unincorporated
area have DX>re than two-thirds bou.:ndary contiguous to the City
of Eng1e~ood and has said boundary been contiguous for a
period of not 1ess than three years prior or subsequent to
January 1. 1966?
2. In eatab1~ah~ng the bou.:Ld~ea of the terr~tory
to be annexed. has any 1and wh~ch ~s he1d in ~dent~ca1 owner-
sh~p been div~ded into separate parcel.s or tracts of 1and~
~thout the written consent: of the 1andowner or 1andown.ers
thereof. un1ess such tracts or parcel.s are separated by a
dedicated street. road or other publ.~c ~ay?
