SERIES OF 2026
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE ENGLEWOOD
TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on the 12th and 13th of January, 2026, City Council interviewed all
applicants for City board, commission, and committee candidates; and
WHEREAS, a large number of professional and qualified candidates applied for the
Englewood Transportation Advisory Committee, evidencing both the importance of the work of
this committee and community interest in improving the City in this area; and
WHEREAS, in response to community interest in this work, Englewood City Council
adopted Ordinance No. 14, Series of 2026, increasing the number of members on this committee
from five to a maximum of seven; and
WHEREAS, City Council wishes to appoint members to hold these two additional
positions, by appointing one new member and elevating alternate member Madeline Pike to a
full voting regular member; and
WHEREAS, the names of members to be appointed with term expiration dates are set
forth below; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to express its gratitude for the volunteerism and
service these individuals have agreed to provide to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, hereby approves the
following persons for appointment to the committees to serve at the request of the City Council:
BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE: TERM:
1. Englewood Transportation Advisory Committee (ETAC):
a. Regular Member: Madeline Pike (3/16/2026 – 2/4/2030)
b. Regular Member: Dan Strackeljahn (3/16/2026 – 2/4/2030)
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 16th day of March, 2026.
